Noteworthy Findings

* ~ The 2008 Tri-State festival, had a several mobile food booths ready, like you would find at a carnival or state fair, Brats and Cold Beer WooHoo!.... However..  Their turkey legs were 'stunning' unmatchable anywhere. Nothing short of a master chef prepared these superb appendages for feasting enjoyment!.. and these were NOT smoked legs, but baked! (think of homer simpson thinking about any food) We call it 'Thanksgiving on a Stick'. A true Feast by any definition.

** ~ Maryland rocks!!, however, do not lay down on anything without clothing or you will probably pick up a skin fungus.

*** ~ you can't play rock n roll at these, nor anything written in the last 300 years. The dancers kept it from being a 1.

% ~ South Florida is at a large park, so they can only do so much to the lands but they go to extreams to hide the modern life from sight. Find youself a clan to get friendly with, bring a hunk o beef and you could be invited to stay the night at their midevil encampment. If not engaged on a stage, most of the minstrels are wondering about to play you a love sonnet or woop it up with a lively dance tune.

# ~ Staff and Cast all engrossed into the period, letting you forget about where you came from. Visitors also abound, well garbed and speaking.

## ~ Good God, where's the end of day Pub Sing!? not that 1 guy with a mug o grog by the joust field, was it?... The exit song and dance cant be counted as it was not inside the festival grounds nor was any drinking allowed there, but they were good.

! - You expect that the feast, if they have one, would be of extraordinary quality and design, when compared to the rest of the festival.
The 09 Az feast made an abomination of this event. The song, what do you do with a drunken sailor comes to mind here, as one of the main food items was probably made by one. Shirley didn't mean to have a dry, mildly warm and well hardened turkey leg as an edible item, but THEY surely did.   This thing that they gave you, as part of your $79 feast cost could be used to pound nails into the equally hard table that you were eating at.
Not just me, but everyone there had the same thing. A couple who were asked their thought about it said, 'we thought that was part of the entertainment, not really to be eaten'.  perhaps they were trying to be a business instead of an entertainment production this time. And we would hope that their food service license would be revoked for this feast period once the real inspectors see this, being cooked but not hot served left this open to food service violation issues.
Fire The Chefs just for allowing this just on principal!!
What's a turkey leg doing in a feast meal anyway?  With the singular exception of the Tri State fair, it never should be.  We will never again feast here on our dime.. Never!  The 09 festival took a dramatic downfall from the past years visited.

The 2012 Two Rivers Faire was perhaps the best overall we have visited, probably due to its size, small but super well managed. Getting to it is the only hurdle to face. Also to get to all stages you have to walk the entire site via the maze of fences in place. Keep the insides clear of those so visitors can get to anyplace quickly. The management and crafters all cheerful and bid thee Good Day m'lord! All 'employed' garbed well.

& ~ The 2013 Mayhem in the Mountain Faire is quite well to do for its small size. You too will want to visit and marvel at the countryside that this event is surrounded by. Food is all tops, including huge beef ribs ('slike a side o beef on a pakeyderm rib') and other good grillin going on here. The SCA also holds a major tournament here. Kings and Knights do battle with great physical exertion. Being in the mountain, it can take the breath out of you, at 7000' altitude, so no running about for you sea coasters. 1 state with at least 3 different groups for entertainment; drums in the mountain, skirt lifting dancers and more!
